I love VW’s as much as the next guy but..
Okay so when I saw the VW Scirocco (I still can’t say that word, no one can.) parked up in the local pub and beer garden, I couldnt take my eyes off of it. Never much of a dub fan before that car came out, there is just something about it. More agressive, smooth but without looking too bubbly, I thought to my self, its a real good looking car.
I was wrong. This car looks amazing, especially the GT4.
Speaking of too much time on your hands… RC Planes anyone?
Who’d have thought these little things were so popular. This one is owned by my colleague, apparently its quite tricky to fly. I believe him.
Once you add an extra wing to the thing, it happens to be much easier to fly, straight into a tree…
Way too much time on your hands?
Been a while since I posted, its starting to get to be a habit, didn’t even bother opening tweet deck today either. What’s happening to me?
I did however find that some people have far too much time on their hands. Far too much.

I’ve got to say I am really quite envious, if I had half as much time to be this creative with a huge amount of dead insects id be a happier person.
Who has more time on their hands, someone who draws fly senarios, or someone with enough time to build a replica Japanese battleship out of lego?

The futures bright, the futures electric cars?
Time and time again I find myself dealing with something related to the electric cars buzz which the auto industry is really gearing towards at the moment.
And do you know what? Each time I ask myself (and the person nearest me) the same question…
Where do they think all this extra electricity is going to come from?
Somewhere along the line, in the not so distant future, a bright, savvy, non-financially greedy person is going to realise “oh wait… we actually need more power than can be supplied”.
Scrap the entire electric charging idea, wasting all the money that’s been spent already to meet idiotic government co2 targets and start work on something innovative and useful.
The Doc in back to the future has the idea, waste disposal fusion food processors. Simples.
By the way, what the hell is this Peugeot BB1 scooter car thing?
Van Fail – Try not to crash
You really don’t know how awkward and stressful moving is till you have to do it yourself. I moved out over a month ago and I’m still living out of a suitcase, what the hell did I do wrong there? Didn’t budget for a wardrobe because my last place had one inbuilt.
A positive side of not having a wardrobe is I didn’t need a huge van to move everything I possessed, but some things you cant do without a van, like moving a bed, or a sofa. A yes a sofa, I still need one of those. We weighted the pros and cons of hiring a van (not old enough, 1 con straight away) or paying £20 for a man and a van for an hour who moved everything for us. This was most fortunate it was an easy move in the same town more or less up the road.
A colleague of mine was not so fortunate. His girlfriend has been living in France and a £20 man and van just wasn’t going to cut it. He ended up hiring a huge commercial van (luckily he has the age, experience and licenses for these things) crossed the channel and navigate the scary scary streets and roads of Paris. But not before laying down a huge £500 deposit.
He managed to make it all the way there, load up his girlfriend’s furniture, get back and unload everything without a hitch. Then on his way to drop the van back managed to drive it into the side of a car. Subsequently he has had to pay up the excess for the insurance, which I believe to be the full £500. Idiot. There are dozens of cheap used vans for £500 or so he could have bought or paid someone else to do it for him.
Back to the future
So I used to love the idea of being a DJ when I was younger, to the point of having my own turntables and mixer, an amp, CD decks, I even managed to play at a few peoples parties.
But many moons have passed since then, and I’ve grown out of that. We all have, haven’t we?
Sure now and then I’ll eye them up in the corner of the garage, spend half a day setting them up, even going so far now as to hook them up with the computer, just because I can. And then ill soon realise just how bad I am at them after no more than a mere thirty man minutes.

So I’m baffled how this industry can still be thriving as much like it is and just how much you can actually get for them these days, not to mention how weird the likes of a Rega p3 turntable is, makes my old Citronics look shameful.
Future Cars of Tomorrow
Got to give some props out to the PsiPunk site, it showcases futuristic concepts from giant luxury yachts to flying cars and other epic ideas.

Things like this excite me, they make me want to sit down and design things for the future, ive always loved drawing and most of my stuff would be geared towards a sci-fi future of high rise buildings, floating sidewalks and hover cars. I cant see the next new astra from Vauxhall to be as spaceage as the name portrays, but heres hoping someone starts thinking along those lines.
Though I can only find this little concept creature lurking for Vauxhall’s future flying cars
Who’s that out there? Oh, its you autumn
Don’t you hate it? I has so many plans for this summer, just never did I get around to them. I don’t think I managed to even wash my car all summer. Or get it painted, got to start thinking of christmas now. Maybe ill just buy everyone I know a big bulk buy wind up teeth. Yeh that should confuse them.
Anyway I must dash. Got to be up in 6 hours and the rain is starting to sound like it wants to break through the roof, so ill get some shut eye whilsy I still can.
Rail gun? – This guy is either too smart or too dangerous for his own good..!
Taken from here.. http://hackedgadgets.com/2009/05/07/mv-coilmaster-mark1-coil-gun/
I can just imagine seeing some military version of this in the form of a mini gun coming in the near future.
